Lace Lock

My client Jim absolutely swears by this method of shoe tying called the ankle lock. He has convinced me to give it a go and I can now see why he raves about this method.

The idea behind the ankle lock is to help reduce movement and keep your ankle firmly in place. I was born with duck feet; I have a very narrow ankle and a wide toe box! Often times my ankles will actually slip out of my running shoes because they are so narrow. In fact, technically I have size 5 feet but because my toe box is so wide I wear a 7 to match the width of my feet.

I've recently tried the lace lock with my cross training shoes and I've noticed a much tighter hold around my ankle. Best of all there's no more slippage!

Give it a go! Let me know what you think.
